Two brothers, born and raised in a small western Massachusetts mill town...

Dominic and Walter Kutylowski have always had music as part of their lives...

Their Grandfather played accordian, and that's how Walter got started... Soon enough, he began picking up more, on piano and organ and guitar and bass... playing in country and rock bands through the years... And then he settled down, got married, started a family... But music has never been too far away...

Dominic picked up a few chords from his brother and taught himself how to play guitar... Influenced by the "singer-songwriters" he heard growing up, he began writing songs and singing them in coffeehouses and open mics...

They always got together to play, trading and sharing songs they've written...

A few years ago, the Kutylowski brothers decided to put those songs on tape... a demo was recorded, and FatHands was born... the joining of two musical journeys that started on two different roads...
